A kind-of disappointing trip today, but I'm happy with what I did get.
First of all, the CVS ad says that their Almay products start at $1.99. The ad also says that Neutrogena products start at $3.49. I couldn't find any product in either line for less than $6.49. Most were $7.99 or higher. I ALMOST went and asked the cashier where the $1.99 and $3.49 items were.
The L'oreal products were ECB producers when you bought $10 or more. I picked up a $4.99 item and an item that was apparently on clearance for $1.49; it was supposed to be $5.99. So, not only did I not make it to $10 to get my $3 ECB, but also the $1.49 item did not count toward the $10. I still need to buy $5.01 worth to get my $3 ECB. I don't like that, since I bought $6.50 of product that I normally would not have bought. Anyhoo.
I also could not find the 6-ct box of Soy Joy that I'd heard was going for $6, with an ECB payout of $6. $9 ECB that I expected to get back and didn't. grr.
Anyway, on to what I DID get:
2 Pantene Pro-V products

used a $3.00 off 2 coupon
paid $3.97 for 2 products
2 GE Reveal 4-packs
on sale 2 for $6
used 2 $2.00 off 1 coupons
paid $2.00 for 8 lightbulbs

used 2 $3.00 off 1 coupons
paid $7.98 for 2 products
2 Clean & Clear cleansers
on sale buy-one-get-one-50%-off
$4.99 each, so one rang up as $2.49
used 2 $2 off 1 coupons
paid $3.48 for 2 products
Used $18 ECB
Paid $3.46 out of pocket
Received $4 ECB back!
