Saturday Savings, 1/16 - Target

A happy trip to Target. The cashier ALMOST didn't give me the $.05 credit because I was using a reusable bag from Disney World instead of Target. She said to me, so sweetly, "Do you know: if you use a Target bag, you get $.05 off?" I was happy to nicely inform her that every shopping bag got that $.05 off. She acted surprised, said that they had been told not to give the nickle off for anything except Target bags, then scanned the $.05 coupon anyway. I've never had a cashier think that it was only Target bags that got the discount. I hope they don't change the policy to only-Target because I don't have any Target bags. :)
Here's the purchase today:
2 boxes Cascadian Farms granola - $2.69 each
Used 1 of each of the $1 off coupons from here and here
Paid: $3.38 for 2 boxes of yummy granola cereal
2 boxes Special K bars - $2.39 each
1 box Special K crisps - $2.39
Used 2 $1 printable coupons for the bars (If you have access to a second computer, you could print out a third coupon. (Target only allows two prints per coupon per computer.) Since you are buying 3 items, Target will allow 3 coupons. You could get this deal for as little, then, as $1.78 for all three boxes.)
